Biennial Flight Review

Federal Aviation Regulations require that every pilot complete a flight-review every 24 calendar months in order to exercise the privileges of their certificate(s).  This can be accomplished in as little as 1 hour of ground, and 1 hour of flight instruction.  Proficient pilots will be able to accomplish the review in the minimum time, but expect to spend longer if you have not been flying as often.  Take this opportunity to learn what may have changed in the regulations from your last review, and to brush up on your flying skills.

Please complete these worksheets and bring to your flight review.

Instrument Proficiency Check

61.57 requires an instrument-rated pilot to complete an instrument proficiency check if they have let their IFR skills lapse beyond the 6 month grace period.  This can be a simple flight showing that you can fly to the standards set forth in the Instrument Practical Test Standard.  Chances are if you've not flown the approaches to remain current in the first place, you may have some rust to brush off first.  Take this time to regain the skills you may have lost, and master new ones.  The world of IFR flying is changing with WAAS GPS approaches; if you're aircraft is capable of these approaches, make sure you are as a pilot.

Please complete these worksheets and bring to your IPC.
