Brett's Aviation Bio
Brett Zefting was introduced to flying by his now father-in-law in 2005, and started flying soon after. The bug bit. His wife Kirsten may never forgive her father fully for the introduction, but she has been known to fly with her husband to beaches, a pancake breakfast or two, and other such worthy destinations on occasion. The past three years and a lot of hard work have provided many flight experiences and training with CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings to show for it. These adventures have led to many great new friends along the way. Brett is currently working as a flight instructor for Jetstream Aviation at The Dalles, OR. When not up in the air teaching, he's probably in the hangar turning wrenches as an certificated Airframe and Powerplant mechanic. Brett is an active member of the EAA and tries to stick his nose in as many local airplane projects as he can find. Through a non-profit company he founded in fall of 2007, he is building a Sonex aircraft. More info on that can be found via the Build to Fly, Inc. link to the left. When time allows Brett has been recounting many of his flying experiences and student pilot days on his aviation blog: Bravo Zulu Aviation
